Conspiracy Theatre 3000 is back for an American comedy and Thanksgiving classic! That's right folks, it's getting cold outside and turkey season us upon us. It's time to settle in, make a nice cup of hot chocolate, surround yoursleves with loved ones and listen to this episode breakdown of the 1987 John Hughes cult classic "Planes, Trains and Automobiles". 
The film tells the story of Neal, a high-strung marketing executive, and Del, a good-hearted but irritating shower curtain ring salesman, who become travel companions when their flight is diverted and embark on a three-day odyssey of misadventures trying to get to Chicago in time for Neal's Thanksgiving Day dinner with his family.
If you haven't seen this film yet go and watch it before Thanksgiving! November is a time to be thankful.  Above all we are thankful that we can get together to breakdown these amazing films for you all to listen to. Episode 45: Misinformation/Disinformation Bill w/Franny and Teresa (Emergency Broadcast!)

Welcome back to another episode of You're Missen the Point Podcast. Tonight (Thursday the 23rd of November, 2023) I come to you all with an Emergency Broadcast! 
The Australian Federal Government are trying to sneak through a bill that will not only limit our free speech but take it away completely! The Labor Parties proposed bill will give any standing government the ability to dictate the "truth". 
Naturally this sets a dangerous precedence for not only Australia but the Western Democratic World. 
To help me unpack this dangerously Orwellian bill and the events happening behind the scenes I was joined by Franny and Teresa two strong dedicated women who are helping alert fellow Australians to only to the dangers of this bill but it's very existence.

- How the Voice to Parliament Referendum was a smoke screen used to distract Australians from the Disinformation/Misinformation Bill.

Conspiracy Theatre 3000 - Episode 8: Halloween 2023 (Special)

"We have such sights to show you!"
Conspiracy Theatre 3000 is back for a very spooky Halloween special! Being October there were far roo many horror classics to choose from. So instead we each came with a film title and breakdown to present to each other and the listeners. That's right three film breakdowns all in one episode!
 
On tonights menu we have;
 
(Bob) - The 1987 Horror/Fantasy Hellraiser.
When Kirsty's father, Larry, and stepmother, Julia, move into Larry's childhood home, Kirsty and her boyfriend take a room nearby. Unfortunately for all involved, Larry's house is already occupied: before the family's arrival, Larry's disreputable brother, Frank, used a supernatural puzzle box to summon a gang of other-dimensional demon sadists. Now, Frank requires a series of blood sacrifices to escape the clutches of Pinhead and the cenobites.
 
(Drew) - The 2013 Horror/Thriller The Banshee Chapter.
BANSHEE CHAPTER follows investigative journalist, ANNA, researching a missing friend who ingested an undocumented research chemical once tested on civilians by CIA MK-Ultra experiments. The labyrinthine trail of evidence leads her into the disturbing world of black ops chemical tests, unexplained radio transmissions and disfigured entities in the blackness of night. Anna will do anything to uncover what lies behind her friend's disappearance but to her horror the entities are coming after her.
 
(Ryan) - The 2023 Dystopian/Sci-fi Resurrected. 
In a dystopian future, the Vatican knows how to resurrect people. After a car crash leading to the death of his son Stanley Martin soon becomes a man of the cloth once his son is ressurected. As he begins to lead a new life he soonndiscovers a conspiracy behind the resurrections and their possible link to a series of murders.

Iowa Talk Guys Podcast ep.76 (Guest Show)

Welcome back everyone! Today I have my guest appearance on the Iowa Talk Guys Podcast. I have been listening to these gents for a little while now, they are a fantastic source for information about the American news cycle, geopolitics and a good laugh at that. They have an uncanny knack for stripping away all the bs and leaving quality information to look into for yourself. 
We started off discussing the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP) and how it’s possibly a Trojan horse for the UN to make land grabs in sovereign nations, but ended up talking about a whole lot more than just UNDRIP. The conversation goes from the royal family to rocket launcher drone dogs, trans-humanism and black magic, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, COVID lockdowns in Australia, the war in Ukraine, and much more! I also answered  some questions for the Iowa boys, and cleared up some misconceptions that Americans have about Australia. This conversation was a blast and I really enjoyed getting to chat with these blokes on their show.
